I have been stashing these pumpkin recipes for way too long, and I thought, ‘What better way to ring in fall than to shower you fellow fall lovers with some pumpkin recipe love from my Bloggers Gonna Blog Community gals?’
You provoked much thought over on my end; you disagreed graciously where you had a differing opinion, and I praise God that the posts were a blessing and a conversation starter for those issues.
Also, I’ve been thinking about healing, healing of my gut, healing of my body, soul, and mind, and I’ve realized that I do not trust God enough for the amazing healing that I know He can work.
Jeremiah 17:14, ‘ Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for Thou art my praise.’
Because God heals, I am going to be seeking the right doctors and people that He has given me to help my body repair after years of damage. I’m not going to be foolish or presumptuous, though that has been a temptation, but I really want to utilize the gift of doctors and advice that God has given me.
I’m not sure where exactly to start, but if you think of me, I would appreciate your prayers for these next few months and years. I am so thankful to report that this week was a SUPER good week when it comes to the digestion front.

To close, I have some verses that I’ve been meditating on and thinking about today. Too often, I get focused on ‘myself’ and how I can ‘fix myself’ and I forget that my life is all of grace and that Jesus died to purify me, that it is Jesus’ death and resurrection that enables me to walk in newness of life.
I can’t seek Jesus Christ and desire to be holy without God working in me, and this passage was a reminder of where my eyes need to be fixed.
Titus 2:11-15, ‘For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ, These things speak and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.’
That moment when the excitement of fall and the joy of God’s grace and mercy hits you.
