I remember coming upon Alison’s blog and thinking, ‘Wow this girl’s story is … different.’ Here was a girl who I could relate to. This was one of the first blogs God providentially brought me to that talked about recovery. The first word that comes to my mind when I think about her is restoration. The restoration in her body, mind, soul, relationships, and in her whole mindset about life has stood out to me as I’ve watched her journey.
I don’t even know how I got there; God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. Restoration can come when you least think it possible. I loved every single part of Alison’s blog posts. She talked about her struggles with Amenorrhea, exercise, food, food freedom, social situations, traveling, and I smiled wide every time I saw a post from her come into my email.
You know. I’m not deserving of all these people that God has placed into my path for this podcast. I wouldn’t have ever found any of them but for His grace.
Meeting Alison in 2015 was one of my favorite memories. I can’t wait till we can get together again.
It’s all grace, and that’s what makes my face shine with excitement as I share each story.
Each story has been precious, delightful, indescribably wonderful from:
Kat’s Story of Embracing True Strength and Deep Compassion For Others and Herself
I can not believe that I got to share all these stories, that these women were willing to share their stories. This is one of the most exciting things that I have ever had the privilege to do; it’s ALL the grace of God, and for that I just can’t ever be thankful enough. But I don’t need to be because it’s all His favor and love in Jesus Christ.
Queen of Burpees (Her burpee workouts are insane)
Eater of All Different Kinds of Food
Kind And Precious
Peanut Butter Afficionado (Much more than me)
And most of all… a daughter of the Heavenly Father, a proof of the sacrifice, the love, the life of Jesus Christ; the death of Jesus Christ for our sins that sets people free!
It is with so much great pleasure and delight that I share her story of restoration, freedom, hope, and recovery.
On Today’s Podcast:

You will be left beaming after the podcast, and maybe you can even connect with Alison and get more into this girl’s heart for others and heart after Jesus.
Isaiah 58: 8- 12 says, ”
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward. Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day: And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.’
