I love each holiday that’s coming up this season. I used to dread them, but now they are one of my favorite times of the year. I love Thanksgiving, all the pumpkin, the pecan, the turkey, green beans, stuffing (if it’s a really good recipe), delicious dinner roll. I love Christmas. I love the reminder of the HOPE, the LIGHT, the REDEMPTION, the Peace that Jesus Christ came to bring that rolls around every single year.
That’s what this podcast is all about this week. It’s all about my holiday favorites, whether they be food, or books, or movies. I thought this would be a fun podcast to remind others to be excited about the holidays, not fearful.
But first let me share some of my very favorite Thanksgiving recipes with you (I have a friend who has a treasure trove of them on her website (Joy Food Sunshine).

A couple links to some of my favorite sweatshirts/sweaters:
Fueled By Water – I got the sweatshirt, and it is the SOFTEST ever! (It only runs for 6 more days, so hurry and get one before it’s too late.
Luxe Victory Hoodie – One of the most comfortable yet expensive hoodies I have. A sweet sister got it for me, and I’m hoping it will last me the rest of my life; it’s so well made.
Athletic Avocado Sweatshirt – I don’t know if these gals sell their swag, but they sent me a large sweatshirt with their logo, and it is my FAVORITE massive sweatshirt that I can cozy up in at night.
Passage I shared from Psalm 145:1-9, ‘I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.’
This podcast is going to have all the feels of apples and cinnamon and pumpkin and peppermint and chocolate. I hope you love. 🙂
